"Then edit your post and delete the image, and replace it with the link you copied. For example, here's the link to the image you've already posted:"

Ok - I got here, and then totally missed something - the image was posted, and I can't figure how to delete it - or something...I don't know.........

Re: Laura
Hi Joey, nice image.

Firstly, click on the image in your post and it will open in its own window and the image file's location on Steve's server will be displayed in the editable area at the top of your browser bar.

Highlight this location text and copy it to your clipboard using Ctrl and C (Cmnd and C on a Mac).

Now return to your original post and above your avatar image it will have two words "edit" and "reply" (you only get the edit option against your own posts). Click the "edit" and you will get a dialogue box with the text of your post and the HTML code of your image.

Highlight the image HTML code and hit the delete key on your keyboard and it will be gone.

Now paste the location text you previously copied in its place using Ctrl and V (Cmnd and V on Mac).

Finally, click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the dialogue. Do not click revert or you will not change anything.

If you then navigate back to your post you will see that the image is now replaced with a clickable location link.

I've done this for the Laura image and here is the result:

Hope this helps.

P.s. I use the edit feature a lot to go back and correct spelling mistakes and typos after I've posted ... It's funny but I can't see them until after I've posted. I'll be reading this over again in a minute once it's up on the forum.

Edit: found a whole bunch of things which I've corrected. ... There are no doubt more that I've missed (sigh).

Vern

So it's not just me then?
