oil painting in progress
Something I'm working on, an image of an oil painting, made to look as if it is still being painted. Thought about trying to turn it in to a paint by numbers ?

Nicely done Salfordnurse. Specially the hand of the painter and the shadow. Painting by numbers, a funny idea about the painting of William Adolphe Bouguereau - 'The difficult lesson'. Maybe you could use the filter Image»Adjustments»Shadows/Highlights a couple of times to get more detail in (some of) the darker areas, like the girl's hand under the book.

Re: oil painting in progress
Thanks for the kind words sjef,
when I first did it, I tried using shadows/highlights levels etc to try and increase the lines and detail but it made to many areas of darkness, under arms skirts etc, and I wanted the image of the girl to be mostly white, I think maybe doing a couple f copies of the sketch layer and adjusting shadows/highlights, and then masking out the areas I don't need then merging them together. To create the final layer. But I may have another try when I try and do the paint by numbers
