actually I shot it both ways...liked it both ways...flipped a coin and sent in the darker one and yes it was taken in front of a window. Thanks for your input.

very nice Vibeke. The orchids were taken with a Nikon D70S using a 18-70 mm lens set for everything automatic.

My mystery flower was taken with a Canon Powershot Pro1, using the super macro function. The flower is only about 1 inch.
