What do you guys think?
Hi this is my first post on this forum. Just recieved the book yesterday, and must say that is has a lot of fun stuff in it. Things that took me ages to do before, now done in a few steps. To get to the point. I entered this image into a photoshop contest, this week. The source image was a man holding a plant. The rest of the work is done in photoshop(light orb, stone texture, lighting etc...) the image can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=2099255820&size=l Any comments would be appreciated. I`m quite satisfied with the result, but always looking for ways to improve my designs. In forehand, thanks! |

Hello Kai I think you've done a great job, but the arm looks a little strange to me. I'm assuming that it's meant to look like stone, and if so it seems a bit flat, like the image is being projected onto it. Some dodging and burning would give it more depth. Or perhaps it's intended to look that way, in which case I apologise! The 'fairy trail' is excellent. |
