Melting Bulb
I'd welcome observations on this one. My wife held a new bulb over a table light, which was shot and then levelled in CS. We then removed the shade from the live light and shot the lit bulb in roughly from the same position. The two images were masked to blend the new and live bulbs. I then took a picture of the desk and used a blend of techniques from Steve's 2nd edition, i.e. grey layer, plastic wrap etc. It's two years ago now and I cannot really recall exactly how it was created, but remember it took some time playing with white overlays, cloning, different blends to achieve the final result. I hope you like it. Nick ![]() |

Re: Melting Bulb
Very nice Nick-it looks like it could be either melting or freezing. |

Re: Melting Bulb
Excellent - particularly the shading on the hand, which has been beautifully rendered. |
