art and design in photoshop
this is what happens when a printed tutorial is fun to read. i do not know if it complies with all design-laws. it is a birthday-party invitation card for the party of an eight year old and will be printed 10cmx15cm.
suggestions and critique welcome as always.

Hi Redsnapper,

Looks like a great flier invitation for the birthday party. Wished I'd had one when eight.
Great modeling IMHO, composition, lighting and enjoy the colours/hues, the balance and combinations .
Text font just right I think in this context.
Enjoy!
I'm not a very good at critique, just some ideas, nothing major, but maybe you could consider different extents of motion bur on the limbs and from the articulation point i.e. to give impresion they are moving/swinging independently as he leaps, same maybe for outer glow, but do keep it, makes the picture!, Maybe okay the way its is??, your choice of course
And finally, not very familiar with Spider Man, but maybe there is an issue of scale if his hand is holding the top of the spire. Just letting hand point back after letting lose could be enough(???)...
Just a style things.
Given fantasy and the target audience its perfect the way it is Great to have a chance to have a go at this

Just some thoughts as requested.

Trevor
PS thanks for PMs. More there later.

Re: art and design in photoshop
at some point i considered growing long black hair on the figure and put a screaming model in its left hand...i really did.
had the prints done today and didn´t like what i got. the boy liked it anyway. inviting his friends for a visit to the gutenberg museum, where they will print with moveable letters.
yes,... of course there´ll be play and cake and lemonade and the lot.
