Beyond the tunnel
I had nothing to do this afternoon, so I thought about doing something with PS. A while ago I took this photo which inspired me to make this work. ![]() _________________ Stefano |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
I like this - there's a good sense of depth and perspective here. My only problem here is with the two diagonal streaks at the bottom. Because they don't get narrower as they recede into the distance, they fight against the perspective of the scene - whereas the bottom stripe does work. |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
Thanks Steve, glad you like it. This was the result before applying the radial blur filter (zoom and spin method) to create the speed effect, in fact initially the perspective was right. ![]() _________________ Stefano |

Is that the light at the end of the tunnel? I hope so! _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
In my case the light at the end of the tunnel always seems to be the oncoming train! Nice image Stephano. _________________ Why is there only one word for ‘Thesaurus’? |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
Yes Ithought it was train or something coming forward. Like it as well. Stefano I preferred when you had the overhead lights in perspective or motion blur. They are normally strip lights rather than spot lights? I did not confirm this, but if convert to Smart Object before apply the filter, with the filter under the smart object there is a mask, so you can change the density of the effect of the filter to the areas you want, i.e. remove the parts you do not like. Is this the new tunnel from Italy to Switzerland maybe? Trevor |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
Thank you all for your comments. Honestly the first idea I had was something like “The tunnel to heaven” with a blinding light at the end of it, but when I saw the work completed I thought “this can be an oncoming motorcycle (I guess Trevor on his Jota (?))” This hasn’t got a specific sense, I made it just to kill the time. I think I’ll try with the Smart Objects Filter. Stefano _________________ Stefano |

Re: Beyond the tunnel
I like the blurred overhead lights, but for me the ground lights are better when they're crisp. A good image! |

This one remind me some of Anthony McCall's work. |
