Friends together
I was approached to do a montage some time ago now, for a couple of bike racers. A friend of theirs followed them around taking some great pictures, but never managed to capture them together. This was because they were either at different levels, or raced in different classes.

I was given a CD full of images and managed to find two, which seemed to sit well together. This is some time ago, but I recall the shots were certainly taken in different places and may even have been at separate meets.

The attached is the end result.

Re: Friends together
Beautiful image Nick. Colours whow! Great work they must be very happy.
Off topic: You know I love motorcycles, but sorry I don't ride so often and fast as I/we-several friends used to. Thats life. Motorcycles safer than cycling though in my experience!!
I drew one image in pencil once.... took a long time.
I like the "3", being a Jota (120) man and Trident / Rocket 3 guy

Re: Friends together
Looks great, Nick. One little nitpick: I think the left bike needs grounding shadows similar to those on the right bike.

Re: Friends together
Nick, that is really great work. I did not realize that it is montage. I agree with Lonnie, there should be a shadow at the whell of the left bike.

Anyway it is fantastic.

Re: Friends together
Thanks guys and you're absolutely right. I did this in 2007 and came across the file when looking through a DVD for another image. I remember drawing the shadow for the left bike, but I never kept the original PSD file, so no way of telling. Anyway the boys were happy with the image.

Re: Friends together
Fantastic work. But Lonnie is right about the shadows. No matter, though - very few people will notice!
