What inspired you to montage ?
What sparked your interest ?

I only got hooked last year, i took this picture with the intention of turning it upside down.
I wanted him to stand on tiptoes but he was a bit nervous of the edge, I had to tell him there was a spider to get him to look up.

I'd only really used photoshop as a way to improve photos, now i had to add a new sky.
I wandered the wasteland and read a bit about selections.
This image took me over an hour, probably take 5 minutes now.

Anyway, this is what made me want to learn more.

That's a terrific effect - it always amazes me how the simplest idea can be so effective. Turning the sky/view over, of course, is what really makes this one work, and it's a very neat job.

Your choice of evening sky is a good one: if the Sun is very low in the sky, it would explain why the light inside the tunnel comes from below, rather than from above.

Thanks.
It was meant to be a straight photo til i realized his jacket actually looked like it was upside down.
I tried to get him to stand on tiptoe so his hands were flat but he was a bit nervous of the edge.
The sky was taken on the same day 20 miles down the road, the original background was too blown out to use.

It took me so long to do, as i didn't really have a clue, I decided it was time to learn a bit more.
