Magnificent! That's a truly beautiful piece of work - amazing attention to detail, fantastic textures, a real work of art.

I saw a Solex for sale at a flea market in France a couple of years ago, wish I'd had the sense to buy it.

Thank you all for such positive replies! That is a stimulus to my pacience and to work accurately. Maybe some of you noticed a foult though in this drawing and didn't mension it. Indeed, it's the spokes... I couldn't get them the right way at first and did just one retry. That was not enough, so one day I have to do the spokes again and divide them in the right degree proportions.
And Steve, be glad you bought your electrical bike, because with an old Solex you have to drag a backpack with tools with you
