Table Scene Continued
Having done the table and chairs I decided to set the table - again all in 3D objects made by myself. Well after many crashes and some bringing the computer to its knees a few times here's the result. The two candles are lit with point lights which I had to keep turning off to move other items around( or else things became very slow and almost impossible to do ). Hence it appears if doing a large scene it helps to hide some items until the final render. Frank ![]() |

Frank, this is absolutely fantastic! What an excellent piece of work! Do you have a high res version? I'd like to share this with Zorana Gee, the Photoshop product manager. |

Re: Table Scene Continued
Thank you Steve -- the whole point of this exercise was to create simple objects and attempt to place them accurately in the scene -- basically a self learning thing-- here's the higher res version: http://users.eastlink.ca/~fbwhite/table-scene.jpg |

Re: Table Scene Continued
Frank that's great! Can I ask what the specs your computer are? I used to dabble in 3D Studio Max, just basic things. My old PC would crash constantly. I have less patience these days, I don't think my laptop would handle the render times! _________________ "Predictions are difficult. Especially about the future" |
