Lampooning our ghastly government.
As you know I occasionally get political in our challenges. I have been trying for the most part to avoid this and have confined my self to foisting my political frustrations on my Facebook friends.

I thought I'd put them here where you can enjoy them or ignore them at your pleasure. They are cartoons and not therefore always the best photoshop.

These were mostly produced over the last few weeks so they are still reasonably topical ......... and I don't think any have appeared here before.

Hope something somewhere may give you a giggle .......

No 5 is my favourite ...........

Despite promises of a proper interim arrangement Priti Patel has announced that in the event of a no deal crash out she intends to have all borders immediately sealed even for EU citizens.

I am indebted to Josephine for this one. Thank you. It adapts perfectly.

Good stuff David... I will go with #2. I admit that I did have to look up Jacob Rees-Mogg - gag is still amusing even though I know nothing about the gentleman. I have an excuse though, I'm in Oklahoma...

Not really for giggles or entertainment any longer ...... just too horrified by the sheer cynicism.

Re: Lampooning our ghastly government.
Walking through a local flea market this morning I came across the French edition of "Europe for Idiots" in a cardboard box.

I just couldn't resist taking a quick photo of the cover and ........

Very good David and now we have an amazing Supreme Court decision that confirms it. Telling porkies to HM the Q would have had his head on a wooden block a couple of centuries or so ago.

Perhaps we ought to send our court over to the US to show how it’s done.

An effective solution certainly. The cornered snake strikes back with even more venom ......... I am curious to see what happens next ..........

I certainly wouldn’t be placing any bets on any particular outcome, although logic ought to dictate that there should be a few resignations in the offing.

Logic, sadly, has been conspicuous by its absence .......
