Challenge 267: Turning out the lights
High power incandescent lights are about to be banned throughout Europe, for rather spurious energy consumption concerns. This is something Deborah Morley noticed in the Friday Challenge a couple of weeks ago, and it seems a shame to let the event slip by unremarked. The trouble is, what are we going to do with all those old lightbulbs? Surely we can find a fitting memorial for these beautiful and iconic objects... High res is here.  |

we got free low energy lights (for lack of a better word) from the city of Antwerp months ago..and they get "installed " by people from the city also..they come to your house and put them in..........but they don't look as good( as in colour temparature) as the old ones and they take a while to "load'.......which can be annoying. So back to candles I guess.......sometimes  ))
