Challenge 441: Down the pub
I was having a drink with a friend in Cambridge the other day. We were sitting next to a long, narrow table in front of a bench, with stools on our side, at which a group of students were enjoying a couple of pints in convivial company. Later in the evening they left, and the table was cleared. Here's how it looked immediately they'd gone (and apologies for the noise, I didn't use my iPhone's flash). Can you recreate the scene when they were still there? High res is here.  |

A snapshot using flash --- I also moved the narrow table out from the wall Steve as it looked pushed in. I would have joined this party.  |

Two beers between six students is probably an unrealistically high ratio ... so much for realism in my image then. I was imagining you perched on quite high stools, Steve :-) but getting off to take your earlier shot. Can't quite get the angle of the students to look real - probably need to tilt them forwards at the left end so they are more face on. Oh, and thanks to Fworx for the 3D barstool model which I found at http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/free-bar-stool-3d-model/367734 and retextured

Some additions: PS Yes, I now realise a "flip horizontal" on the chain handles would have put the highlights in the correct place, but muggins here merged visible, so it's too late!

Thanks Vern Yes Ive probably overused the smoke/clouds a bit last few weeks but I find it challenging to achieve the various looks and speeds and applying them to suitable environments.
