Challenge 442: The Martians are coming!
Deborah Morley spotted this fine statue of an invading Martian (from, I think, H G Wells' War of the Worlds) in the English town of Woking. She reckoned it would be a good candidate for a Friday Challenge. I completely agree. Of course, you could cut the invader out and transplant it to a different location, or you could go about making its current setting appear as if an alien invasion is taking place. Up to you! Excellent Anna. Jeff Wayne's music for War of the Worlds was terrific and I loved Richard Burton's opening recitation. Didn't rate the Tom Cruise film, though. _________________ 76.38% of all statistics are made up on the spot. |
