Challenge 455: Museum alley
I've posted a couple of Challenges using photographs I took at London's Museum of the Docklands, and here's another. This is a corner of a network of Victorian dock buildings you can wander through - very atmospheric, very nicely achieved. Of course, the street could do with a little life breathed into it, and the modern ceiling really needs some attention. Oh, and you'll have to contend with the fact that I shot this on my iPhone, so sorry about the noise. High res is here. ![]() |

Oh yes James! Spooky. For maybe she looks like a younger "flying witch" version from my last weeks contribution. Just me. Maybe this is how it all started, and not evil at all..... ?? Mystery upon mystery ..! Just a thought .... Interesting thought . Thx |

Re: Challenge 455: Museum alley
Steve, I've been doing some of your Art & Design lessons and decided to incorporate this weeks challenge into a book - I came across this popeye rendition (by Rick Baker) and thought he's perfect for the docks. I used the Julius Thyssen font Salernomi-J from the disk in the book. Great book I might add.( the inside partial page is the "Tobacco Dock") Frank ![]() |

Re: Challenge 455: Museum alley
Hi vibeke, I don't always get ideas to tell a story or to put other mind suggestions into a picture. It's often just the critics whether the applied methodes I'm wondering about. Thanks for your reaction ![]() |
