Challenge 525: Down in the bunker
I visited the French port of La Rochelle last weekend, where I spent some time in the excellent new museum Le Bunker, which was the headquarters of the admiral of the fleet and the U-Boat commanders during the WW2. A most interesting place, which included a number of reconstructions of scenes using shop window mannequins.

The reconstructions were reasonably well done, but there's something about them that doesn't quite work. The mannequins look too stiff and don't relate to each other.

Can you breathe some life into this scene?

You have a choice of two starting images this week - take your pick, I couldn't choose between them. High res are here and here.

Incidentally, I'm writing this from a hotel room in Geneva, Switzerland, where I'm presenting Photoshop to students at a conference of International Schools. Greatly looking forward to meeting them all - expect some Swiss images in the weeks to come! And I suppose that means that as far as the content of this week's Challenge goes, I'm neutral.

Ahmed,

If you replace http: in the url with img: and then put the whole address in square brackets, the image will show up directly in the post.

I've done this for you here.

Thank you Frank! Yes, I have very fond memories too of Hogan's Heroes watching it as a child. Doubt I understood it completely but it was a regular at 5pm every afternoon

Some badly inconsistent shadow from the code machine ... but somehow doesn't seem to matter. Well that's my excuse anyway .....

Great jobs gang, love the hogans heroes, as the original picture brought the same idea to mind, I also toyed with a take of the Red Skull (from Capt America). Thx for bringing back the memories D
