Challenge 535: Let's get festive
This week's image comes from Linda Eckert, who photographed this building in the city of Beaulieu. "Immobilier" is the French for what we in the UK would call an estate agent, and what in the US would be called real estate agents (are ours somehow fake, then?). Linda was struck by how dull this building looked, especially in the run-up to Christmas. Can we get together and add some festive life to this scene? High res is here.  |

NO - I haven't been a good boy you fat patronising judgemental old man!!
I have moved this from France to my home town of Brussels with it's distinctive national symbol. In the US estates are whatever a person owns, including accounting trickery. The "real" part came to refer to the physical space that was owned by someone as opposed to things that only existed in a ledger. _________________ I'm still learning. |

The inspiration (if the word inspiration may be used for such questionable taste) for my rather dubious image came from the fact that our little fellow here in Brussels gets a costume for Christmas and the discovery, during my picture searches, that peeing Santa's actually exist!

I guess it is how you interpret festive life. Watching Alistair Simm in A Christmas Carol is a highlight of the festive spirit for me.   |
