Challenge 718: The Peace Garden
Challenge 718: The peace garden

I walked past this curious site in London a couple of weeks ago.

You can just get a glimpse of the 'peace garden' through the railings - but access to it is denied by both a security handle and a stout chain and padlock. You're invited to contact CityWest Homes for access, but they give you no suggestion for how to do so.

Can you show how an "over 55s peace garden" - whatever that is - might be improved?

High res is here.

The muse has truly abandoned me on this one. I keep staring at it blankly wondering what to do. Hopefully later in the week I can find something decent to offer .........

As someone who is already many, many years beyond that point I am having difficulty concurring with the two contributors who apparently equate over 55 with deceased.

If I'd had even an inkling of what a surprising amount of work this would prove to be for such a lightweight concept I would never have started ..........

It was the connotation of 'peace' and 'garden' together that gave me the idea, not the 55+. I too, am well beyond the curve.

My next entry is more light-hearted and not nearly so 'grave'... as always. I remain puzzled.

The fatigued, faded and forgotten...

Please note no animation, and the first image illustrates a close-up of Steve's original gate.

Micheal this the second image you have posted recently with this lovely greenery. Have you found a special source?
