Challenge 810: Peppa's boat
Peppa Pig is a children's cartoon series here in the UK. As I was queuing up for a supermarket last week I noticed this children's ride at the entrance, based on a prop in the show. What would it take to make this boat seaworthy? High res is here.
PS Michael Sinclair - you'll find the explosives in the hatch at the stern. |

A child's imagination! Haven't a clue what to with it, but this is great. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Well, I can make it bathwaterworthy, but seaworthy? Hmm. |

Re: Challenge 810: Peppa's boat
Apologies for getting political - the idea just popped into my head from nowhere ........... and of course it's off brief because it's anything but seaworthy! ![]() _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

100% Seaworthy. It may look bad, but I guarantee that it's not going to sink. ![]() |

Cunning way of avoiding having to restore the side!

Actually, I did restore the side (sort of) for a completely different idea, when what you see popped into my head. Gordon - That's very cute, six is a good age! |

David, Loyd, and Gordon good work!
I have every confidence that as "lock-down" eases the site owner will recover, and the aberrations that we have been subject to will come to an end...please God
I've tried to make this model boat as realistic as possible.

Re: Challenge 810: Peppa's boat
I decided to complete my first thought for this challenge before I was distracted by 'stormy seas'.
My repair/restoration failed however, and it was NOT seaworthy... I guess wooden planks were not a good choice. The bottom of an aquarium is a good spot for it. |

Yes, the first one certainly has a more overall toy-like tone. |

Loyd both are wonderful: it must have taken you ages to do 75 Gif frames. It's the gold star for you ![]() ![]()
