Challenge 957: The sidecar
I've long enjoyed Prickwillow Pumping Engine Museum (no sniggering at the back), which features a magnificent set of pumping engines that used to drain the land around Ely.

Last weekend Prickwillow (I'm not going to warn you again) hosted a motorbike rally, and among the vintage cycles on display was this rather glorious sidecar. On close inspection it appears to take two riders, both recumbent, the legs of the back one beneath the angled seat of the front one.

Can you put this back on the road? Or detach it from the motorcycle entirely and find a better use for it?

High res is here.

This is the kind of oddity I associate very much with India where all sorts of ancient motor bikes are still stumbling along .........

I would appreciate if the aeronautical experts refrained from aeronautical comments. This is a Photoshop challenge!

Very nice cutout Ben, especially that front wheel. The Little Dog Coffee Shop sign is looking straight at us. Shouldn't it be facing slightly to the right?

Thank you for the feedback Michael. I agree on the sign, I found the complete coffee shop online as it is there. It did worry me while I was working but took the it was a 'photo attitude. Now you've mentioned it. it seems far worse.

Just along for the ride...

So there we were, just me and Rags flying over the English countryside on a gorgeous sunny day, when we found ourselves with a Hawker Tempest escorting us. A really fun day out.

Loyd I think Harry has been inserted and partially vanished by Penn and Teller! She looks great!

Gordon. What fun! It really is somehow tempting to get this thing airborne. Perhaps this should be reversed with Rags on the bike with the scarf doing his Snoopy and the Red Barron impression.

My entry or not my entry?

You must decide here.

That was the original idea but Rags was acting as my flying instructor that day 🤣

I had trouble finding a suitable image of him... reworked the one used until I reached a point of too much distortion. I then became bored with the whole thing and decided that enough is enough and called it 'finished'.

Good one Gordon...
