Challenge 1080: Steaming ahead
I photographed this miniature steamroller at a rather glorious steam fair in Suffolk this summer. It's a perfect reduction of the original. Can you make this full size, with the same drivers? High res is here.  |

The colour scheme on the left & right engines, that I photographed at our local steam group are as I shot them. Only noticed when I finished that the are all the same. |

The Ditchling steam rally was recently held on the village green next to the churchyard. People courtesy London Photoshop.

Thanks Ben and Loyd. Luckily we don't get tornados here, would certainly be very scary. He's got that one souped up Loyd
I couldn't find a background I needed so I employed AI to "Make a farmers field with a dirt road crossing the front" Remainder of image used a searched tornado image, a rebuild of the subject including turning the mans head and rebuild where they sit, dust and debris PS brushes, spin blur, and some color grading, dodge and burn, sky replace, etc. So in short, I plead guilty to succumbing in part to AI. |

Well done to everyone who submitted this week. Great entries. Whether it's this flu that I'm recovering from or the odd perspective in this image but I struggled this week, almost giving up. Then I remembered Frank talking about Photoshop's Nano Banana and Steve's tutorial, so I investigated. I may be crucified for using it but I cannot fault the results. Loyd - you've been busy, nice work. Anna - Looks good to me, Nano did a great job on that perspective. I don't see anything wrong using it for that - you still created the finished product. Love the animation ,gas masks, smoke, bouncy ride, etc. I agree with David Mac's comments : see : "Generative Fill and More In PS 2026" |

After rebuilding the steamroller I asked AI to place on a dusty road and here's the result. Must admit the results are tempting. ( I could not honestly claim this to be my own work).  |
