Re: Contest 140: Joe and the Prince
I thought I'd get Joe to write up this week's entries, seeing as he was the star attraction. He seems more concerned with his elbows than anything else! mguyer: A good idea, but not that hard to do. A little too close to the truth! Stefan: Very nicely done. I like the way you put the knife in his hand! I like the texture too. michael sinclair: Brilliant. But the cutting was a bit dodgy. Very well done putting me in the suit! james: Well done with the handshake - but my hands aren't that fat! He's holding the polo mallet well. The animation is nice, but the cyclists are a bit too low behind the wall, you can see the wheels through the gap. And that's not how you spell bicycles! 2bfree: In my dreams! The sword fits really well in my hands, and everything's cut out very smoothly. Good choice of background! Just call me Sir Joe from now on. jwhite: Having any homicidal ideas? Cut out really well, and I love the book cover on the jumper. And it's the new edition, too! vibeke: Very nice! good background, but the shadows are a bit too hard around the edges. Why is my elbow on my wrist? Eggbox: Believable response! And my nose is a bit screwed up. The elbow's pretty good on this one, though. Ben Mills: The banjo works perfectly - good choice of background. Finally, someone's done my nose right! Glad to see I get top billing! David Asch: He is a useful weapon! Again, well done with the elbow. This is really funny! brilliant! Dirtdoctor23: Wow! That's amazing, actually! Well done fitting the sword in and having it showing through the gaps in his fingers, and in finding a suit of armour my size! mguyer 2: Give it a few years! The elbow is really screwed up, though. dave.cox: Why is everyone giving me things today? Well done with the suit, but the left arm looks like there's nothing in it. And I seem to have grown a couple of inches. Neal: Perfect! Can I print that out? Wow! How did you get the back of Charles's head? Both heads fit perfectly! james 2: Hmm. big women! And what's that on my jumper? Steve Mac: The hat and the muppet fit very well. Good idea! Char: Whoo! That's clever! Did you draw the clothing? Wow! Lovely book! How did you get the page turning to work? michael sinclair 2: You didn't use Prince Charles' head from the picture! A good water effect, and you've done the pebbles really nicely. katew: Turned the head nicely, and the new bodies fit very well. Don't really like the building! Ben Mills: Good background, making the painting style works well. Funny joke. Philip Saunders: Very funny! The space helmet fits really neatly, the glass in front of my face too. Steam coming off the manure is good. My elbow's a bit screwed up! |

A chip off the old block! Sounds like we may have other Photoshop books with Joe's name on it! _________________ Steve Mac |

"Yes,Sir Joe, I drew the Prince's clothes from scratch,as I couldn't find any armour that was convincing. As to the book,I did it from a tutorial from this site: http://www.actionscripts.org/showMovie.php?id=459 |
