I know I said I would try to push myself and do a day scene this week but the best I could do was a dark, stormy day. I CAN'T DO DAYTIME SCENES!

You can click on it for the bigger version if you care to.

Les, that is one of the best images I've ever seen on here, and that's saying a lot. Absolutely fantastic work, and very moving. Brilliant use of colour, shadow and mist. Stunning work! Congratulations.
Do you mind if I save that image?

Re: Contest 247: Spinning Columbus
I found this nice picture on google and simply concentrated on getting the size correct and matching the colour.

It's interesting to note that Columbus is now pointing in the right direction to the new world instead of out to sea.

Ooh Les!
Grand guignol isn't in it !

One slight niggle - the glowing eyes are a slight overkill for me otherwise an extremely skilful and imaginative piece -

Jeepy- Thank you very much.

Mad Lep- Wow, that's very nice of you to say, thanks! Oh...and yes of course you can save the image.

Gerard- Thank you so much, I appreciate that. You're image is great...it actually made me laugh outloud.

Tooquilos- Thanks!

Josephine- Thank you very much. So out of that whole piece it was the eyes that were overkill?!
I'm just kidding with you...I think the whole thing is kind of overkill .

Nick-Thank you Nick.

Hey Steve...do I get bonus points for using last weeks manhole cover? lol
