And I would like to echo the sentiments at the end of Anna's animation

My first messy/grunge try. I put a cabinet in there (lower right), but did not seem to use it much, yet! Strange what you find in an attic in a strange place .....

Is that you Jota - what a cluttered attic you have!

Great Josephine. I think you are keeping to the brief very well. No comment for my work keeping to the brief (and others, but just enjoy).

What no sepia!, but you have great older silver photography (One stage process?). Looks authentic and interesting to me.

No not me! But I do get a bit cluttered sometimes.

As you do, she gave me a tour of the old house, we climbed out through that window on to a very narrow ledge and up some scary ladders to the top of the roof (no safety). Great view of Xiamen!!

Lovely work everyone! Nick that egg is seriously cool. How did you get it to blend in so well? Love that idea.

Thanks Celia.
To blend effectively, the colours and lightness of the egg and face have to match and this is achieved by playing around with colour fill layers, blend modes and Hue and Saturation / Curves. This is 90% of the task achieved and then it is just a matter of painting onto a mask until you are happy with the result. The final step, which adds the finishing touch, is to copy a section of the egg, clip it to the face layer and run the high pass filter. This will add the texture of the egg to the face and make the blend more realistic.
