Haha maybe it's just the colour surrounding illusion making it look cartoonie then, and I'm suprised his hair style looks like that in the original too ^^'

Some fantastic work this week.
Not been in the mood recently to enter that many pieces to friday challenges. Following an injury at work I've had to leave my job on ICU, and get a job as a nurse in the community. Not really what I really want, so a bit fed up.
On the bright side I'll have more time for photoshop

So sorry to hear about your injury, Do hope you will be able to make a complete recovery, in the meantime do come and play here, it's good for the soul.

Ah well, if May 6th doesn't work out there's always the recess job. Though some may argue there's not a lot of difference!!

And with news of Clegg moves to cosy up to the Conservative party do we see the truth of the old adage "scratch a Liberal and you will find a Tory"?

Appealing to younger voters. Hang out at the beach. Dress casual. Drive a really hot car (2010 Bertone Pandion). Play a mean guitar (Paul McCartney's Gibson). And, of course, have an iPhone handy.

maybe he needs more publicity, tv show interviews, or magazine pictorials. that would make him popular.

Re: Challenge 297: Nick Clegg's makeover
In answer to your question Josephine, the painting (painted in 1900) is by Sir Frank dicksee who specialised in "romantic" historical themes. The The Two Crowns imply the transient grandeur of earthly life and the more permanent one represented by Jesus on the cross.

The painting was purchased for the nation at a cost of £2000 (1900), and now hangs at the Tate Gallery

I hope this helps
