Hello,

My girlfriend told me he looks like if he has diarhea... Sometimes, for such people, it's impossible to go beyond certain limits.

On my opinion, he will sing 'My way' at the house of lords.

Bonne semaine

I thinks so, not surprising as there aren't many smiling photos of Mr Brown.
Wonderful work from Lonnie, Wayne and Nick.
Just wondering about how to do this, is it O.K. to merge bits from other photos into the supplied One (hard, but possible). Seems almost too much cheating, or are we supposed to change the features on the supplied photo, (very difficult if not impossible).

Haha, seen as I not only turned him into an angry terminator instead of actually making him laugh, I think anything is possible! XD

From some of the comments this week, it's clear there have been some major concerns about the difficulty with this challenge and how to approach it.

Luckily, we attended a photoshop seminar at Foyles recently, where Steve demonstrated the preferred technique using the liquify tool. This shot was taken by Trevor (Jota 120). I hope you dont mind me borrowing it Trevor.

Thanks Vibeke, i dont see what is wrong with using bits from other photos. The skillful part is making it look like one photo instead of a mash up of lots of different ones. As you can see from the entries that do seem to use the same source, they all look different in some way, and that is down to the individuals interpretation. This is "How To CHEAT In Photoshop" after all and if this was being done to hit a very tight deadline you would use whatever is available to you to make sure it was ready in time.
I used two photos, source photo and one of brown smiling acquired from google images. Bit of blending, bit of curves adj, and a smattering of liquify.

Re: Challenge 298: Make him laugh
Thanks to Paul, I have downloaded the trial CS5, and have used the new PuppetWarp to make Gordy smile.

It's been touched up in Liquefy.

By the way the new fantastic Content fill option (via the Spot Healing Brush, or by any active selection ) makes the Clone Tool a thing of the past--may it rest in peace.

Thanks, Vibeke. You make a valid point about this challenge, so I thought I'd have another quick go using only the provided source image.

Well, it's really hard to make smile Mr Brown without using pieces of other pictures... this is the best I worked out...
Enjoy it....
