Re: Challenge 328: Window dressing
I had a friend who worked with poser and he used to get round it by putting on an artistic or sketch tyupe filter that ironed out the differences of texture.

Not always appropriate but might be helpful sometimes

What of a lot of great entries you have made! And enjoy, I'm laughing or happy at many,
I was wondered where those trees came from Josephine, he would be very quick doing that I guess!

Great images people ... my funny bone has been tickled.

My attempt is below. I have had to stop it here as I am off to France tomorrow morning ... Disneyland Paris to be precise.

...I'm putting it back, I could not find where to put it. We lose some orthogonality of direction of our thoughts if do not cover them.

Stefano you have some great Caravaggio style with those beautiful drapes and colours.

Sorry I am off track with this, just ignore:
If anyone wants to see or rather hear/see a Laverda Jota120 here is a later version, RGS1000, not as loud.
Big difference with the three cylinders 120 crank, almost perfect balance, and as a result harmony perfect, it goes "whoooo" vs 4 inline straight 4 which goes "grree".
Thank god for Italians who made it with passion and engineering. (bit heavy though)

Maybe this is why I like Pen tool, its the same with skiing

There is one thing you learn from riding a motorcycle or skiing is you can go very fast very quickly, but the art and difficult part is try to slow, stop, it goes on forever. Maybe flying is similar. I only tried hang-gliding, third dimension there, trying to land, I cannot run 25kmph down hill! Get it wrong and you might well be dead or very badly injured. I did not crash, well a very very small bit and not my fault (I think)

This is my take on the commercialisation of Christmas. Unfortunately my ideas have outstripped my ability! However I am sending anyway in the hope of hints and tips. The young lady is from Steve's Full Montage set on the DVD (She is a bit short-sighted!)

Very nice Puffin - I especially like the distressing on the church notice - a little hint as you ask - perhapssome teensy shadows on the notices to lift them off the board slightly?

Gordon's having a rest while the wife's looking for presents. He's hiding behind a penguin as he often did. David has forgotten about the groceries he was sent out to get and is haranging Gordon - as he often did.

Your link works fine Eva. Well done. I'm full of admiration for all those who can do animations.

Re: Challenge 328: Window dressing
Thanks, Josephine. Yes the notices do look somewhat flat, pasted rather than pinned. A point to remember.

Re: Challenge 328: Window dressing
I hope i am allowed to post the same image again - having tweaked it. I have added some shadows to the posters. As I had to go back quite a long way the perspective on the noticeboard is different. Better or worse? I am hopeless with perspective - I simply cannot judge it.

Thanks Sophie! It's a great feature in photoshop and some pictures just want to be animated. I could think of lots of things to upset in this week's picture, but I might be running out of time...
