Thanks Anna
I tried to retain the character of the original drawing as much as possible. Not easy!

Re: Challenge 335: Developing Da Vinci
Took a different approach. Worked on the 'plastic' beard of my previous entry and sharpened up the eyes. Decided to ditch the frame and settle for a standard photo. Bit happier with this one

Fred da Vinci was always jealous of his more talented brother Lennie

More great works.

Excellent as well Nick, but I thought ducks fly

Anna, yes it is Darwin-esk, but I did work hard to merge/warp/paint - for me. They seemed to fit well together. Well spotted.
...and is that an Oz version (obviously), but Nelson is from US(?), love your textures and colours Perfect match

There's something on your "candidate" that really likes to me. I love this one, Ben.

And all the works are wonderful.

Lonniek, I find your image particularly appealing.

Ben, would that be a self portrait with whiskers? Good one.

Apologies if this looks a bit crap - it runs a lot better on my computer so I don't know if something got lost in the translation to photobucket ...

Lovely image Lonnie.
Mine doesn't look too much like Leonardo, more like Nicholas Cage - which it isn't.
