Re: Challenge 437: The holy grail
Ever felt that you may have bitten off more than you can chew?

So ... I had this idea for an image and scoured the net looking for a certain angle of a knight viewed from behind looking upwards but couldn't find what I needed.

So ... I decided to create all the parts in photoshop ... in 3D ... and then bring them all together and render them.

So the image I've created is 95% photoshop ... mostly using its 3D tools ... and boy have I learnt a lot!

I've stopped the render after about 20 minutes so it is still a little noisy but decided I had to pause and submit at least an interim version before I run out of time and brain power.

If I have time and energy I may continue to tweak the image and submit a refined version before the Friday deadline.

We seem to have had the same idea, Joey.

Re: Challenge 437: The holy grail
Think I failed in this as the beer can is just to small in the image.

Yeah Michael - seems like! I waited a while to see if anyone else was thinking along the same line - well, I'm in good company! Yours is a lot more colorful than mine!

Great minds think alike as they say (tongue in cheek). Steve keeps telling me not to oversaturate my colours, but I can't seem to resist it. I was struggling a bit this week and I like your entry more than my own.

No, Deborah, that's a fine composition and you have done what was asked. But only one beer can? Not enough!

Maybe a little eldritch glow to pick it out more?
