Hi Ant. Great seeing your animation! As Jo says uploading to Photobucket or a similar site will work.

Alternatively you can make the animation quite a bit longer if you like then export it as a video. To do that go File>export>render video. Upload it to Vimeo and link it to the forum. However when you copy and paste the link into the forum..the link will look like this https:/ etc…make sure you delete the s otherwise it wont be a clickable link. Hope this helps. Anna

Re: Challenge 508: Oslo lighthouse
I spent all weekend on this only to discover Kathryn had got there first with a similar idea ... and impeccably executed too!! Grrrr.

Not sure if this is "getting it to work" but it's lighting it up!

Re: Challenge 508: Oslo lighthouse
I have gone to town on changing the perspective (check out the other disused lighthouse).

Get a free account with Photobucket for animations

Anna wonderful!

While he looks like a tall fellow, I noticed that Horace seemed a little too big for the other furniture.

Re: Challenge 508: Oslo lighthouse
Thanks Michael Quite a dramatic and atmospheric sea you have there !!

Hi Stefan..thank you I love the texture and effect you have added to your image. I presume you are referring to the water in the video? If so..all the water and clouds are my own time lapse videos that Ive made in the past, however, Photoshop was involved in processing all the images used in the time lapse

George didn't let his duties as a lighthouse keeper get in the way of his interior design ambitions.

When George was made redundant from his Lighthouse Keeper's job he made best use of his self-taught Interior Design skills.

I love it, Gordon!

You along with Anna, Puffin and Michael Sinclair have been an inspiration to me, although, sometimes I find Micahael's submissions to be a bit gruesome.

Now I've got to go turn some text into metal.

Boundary Monument
My background shot is Boundary Bay between BC and Washington. I thought the lighthouse would make a good marker for boaters crossing between Canada and United States.

Re: Challenge 508: Oslo lighthouse
I spent a lot of time walking around Boundary Bay, no rocks but really shallow. Check out the snow owls there when they migrate over from Russia!
