Are you sure it's not the Costa Concordia?

Re: Challenge 533: A different point of view
After the tragedy in Fukushima, the German government decided on a phase-out of nuclear energy by 2022 and a move towards renewables. Germany is planning to have 80% of its energy provided by renewables by 2050. A win for our children and grandchildren.

As a result of this the power giant Vattenfall is suing Germany for 4.7 billion in an international arbitration court in Washington behind closed doors without public accountability.

Here is one possible view that Steve’s grandchildren might get to see if the growing tendency for shortsighted, greedy global corporations to undermine and regulate governments is allowed to continue.

And Yes ….. I’m venting …. a visual rant!!

(Actually I’m not too happy with this but I simply don’t have time to improve on it)

Hi Vibeke,
Yes, it did cross my mind, but I wondered if it would be "politically correct" to put the Concordia up, but I'm game if you are.

Thank you Micheal.

Smiley's come from right here in the forum. Just click the blue Help link to the left of the dialogue entry box at the bottom of this page.

Why ballet, heights and extreme wealth don't mix.

Do we call you Shane? A cracking animation, why so small?

Yes just call me Shane. It was small because that is how I was able to get it under the 100 kb size. I am still learning with the animations. Next time I will play with the settings some more to keep it larger but smaller size.

Re: Challenge 533: A different point of view
One way round this Shane is to have the video hosted off site at Flickr or Vimeo or such like and embed a live link to it here. I think that's what a number of people here do. Its what I do when I want to post an image extra large.
