Re: Challenge 666: The number of the beast
Emy and Trevor - those are really scary.

Anna, I am floored as always

Gordon, Ben, Frank, DavidMac and Josephine

Deborah, that's very interesting. How did you do it?

I know that, since Steve is on his holiday, I conceivably have three weeks to complete this. But, since David is going to give us two more Challenges, really, I don't have the time.

I had to put one of my cats to sleep on Monday so I really give this the work and time it deserved. I guess it shows what I can do in 3 hours.

Hello, my name is Oday, for quite a few years I have been a silent observer of all your fantastic posts with every new Friday Challenge.

Today I decided to join in with a small submission of my own. I look forward to many more challenges and to be a part of your wonderful community.

Steve, hope you're having a great time on your holiday

Here goes... first post...

"hells gate, surely you didn't think the devil would be the one at the desk"

please be gentle on the new guy

Hi GKB,

Thanks, I've been looking in since the CS4 version of the book and would peek in for a few years before that as well

Great work everyone including David, Josephine, Anna, and Michael, but again praise to Sara for a convincing movie.

Welcome aboard Oday

Hello there Oday - love your piece - looks like being a receptionist is just as fun filled down there as it is up here!

Re: Challenge 666: The number of the beast
A Trumpish entry from GKB, with Potus set amid a flaming hell. You're fired... or should that be fried? I like the style of the second entry, more graphic than photographic - and a new pair of horns!

Very graphic work from Ben Mills, combining an angry shouty man with an extruded 666 - and, since it's Ben, a couple of revealing ladies to frame the text. Nice.

Clever work from DavidMac, neatly summarising the hell that is bureaucracy. Neatly done, and a very good idea.

A great retro ad from Josephine Harvatt, full of clever text gags. I like the burnt paper effect. Marlowe would have approved (as would Goethe).

A zombie-like image from tooquilos, reminding me of those 1960s horror comics such as Tales from the Crypt. Great flames in the animated version, and I like the 3D element - I'm sure Iron Maiden would approve!

Haunting work from Jota120, with plenty of spooky goings-on. But... shouldn't the chap lying in the pool have a reflection? And shouldn't the elements interact with each other more?

I enjoyed Deborah Morley's curiously devilish figure - great shading gives this a really three-dimensional appearance. Especially like the eyes.

A very spooky entry from Emy, which is full of haunting menace. Excellent composition, a really powerful piece of work.

It's that man again... and Frank has given Trump a cheesy grin - and a launch button. The way his trademark OK sign makes 666 is a touch of genius!

A very dapper devil from srawland, with a curiously plastic fork. Is that a bargain basement Devil costume? Great zombies in the animated version, but shouldn't be be standing on something?

A devilish angel from Mariner, and it's worth checking out the high res version to see all the detail. Just one technical point: shouldn't the headband be curving up, rather than down?

Our newest member is Oday, with a complex entry full of skulls and bones... very nicely put together, with a good balance. Glad to see you've finally decided to join in... welcome to the Forum!

A fantastic handshake animation from michael sinclair - beautifully done. I particularly like the way Kim Jong Un's head wobbles slightly. Should Trump's head be so skewed, though? I think it detracts from the overall look.
