Re: Challenge 695: Greedo
I am busy creating the graphics for a convention in addition to working full-time at my job. I fear I won't be able to submit any entries until the convention is over.

I will, however, pop in to take a look at the other entries.

Nice work everyone.

Gordon, I think your link is down. It said it couldn't find anything.

Thanks Sara
I don't know what happened there but I have re-uploaded it and there is a new link on the original post as well as here:

I'm getting some very odd reactions to this link. On my iPad it says that the link doesn't exist yet I can open it on my MAC. If anyone else sees this kind of problem could you please let me know.

Re: Challenge 695: Greedo
That's beautiful Deborah.

Love the your animation Anna.

Thank you Gerard.

You solved some problems for me Linda and well executed. (I'm not a Star Wars fan but I got invited to The Last Jedi and the one before. At least it was off the West Coast of Ireland, no it was fine. My sister's boy friend loves it he even bought me a Star Wars tooth brush! I turn it on on and the music comes out of it! Its ok we are both a bit weird but he is Dr and does a good NHS job that some others would not take on. Life).

Re: Challenge 695: Greedo
A two-minute quickie from DavidMac started this week's entries - quick, but effective. I'd have run that skin texture right down to cover his vest.

Fine work from lwc, with posters and a mask. I like the animated screen on the left, and the new floor. Those boxes on the table have a rather dodgy perspective, though; their being all the same size makes the back one look too large.

A very orderly queue from Ant Snell, clearly kept in place by the stormtrooper. A great setting, and I like the added fighter. But... I photographed the man at his table close up, which explains the strong perspective; from this distance there'd be almost no perspective distortion at all.

A welcome return from Frank, with a glorious entry - a terrific tablecloth, models, and decorations. Who's the man wearing the Greebo mask? I like the C3PO drawn on the balloon - nice touch. Very good work, Frank.

A commanding Darth Vader takes over the proceedings in Josephine Harvatt's entry - with a dozen spare stormtroopers. Historical note: the "who shot first" reference relates to differences between the original Star Wars (Han Solo shot Greedo) and the 1997 re-release (Greedo shot Han).

A fine movie opening from GKB, with modified Star Wars logo and a really funny crawl text. I really like how the wall breaks away in the final scene to reveal that starry background - and the addition of R2D2 is perfect. Love it, Gordon.

A host of characters from the bar from Darren, including a nicely inserted Jabba the Butt. Great that you managed to get them all from the right angle - and perfectly composed. Very good work.

A touch of the policitals from Gerard, who has added an extra signatory. Perfect angle on Trump - I see he's put his prices up. Just one thing: the reason that poster behind Trump jumps out like that is because the white is so much brighter than the white of the wall. Consider toning it down to match:

A neatly transplanted entry from Jota120, who has moved the proceedings to a curiously old-fashioned surrounding. Is that wind coming in through the window? I like the added masks. He doesn't look any happier, though.

Linda Eckert knows the way to entice children - offer them plenty of sugar. A really good entry, with great Star Wars sweet holders and a fine array of themed tooth-rotters. I really like the fat kid on the poster. Excellent work, Linda! One of your best.

A shimmering portal from tooquilos, and including those trademark velvet curtains (I assume your house must be full of them). I really enjoyed the animated version, with great action dives. In the final scene, though, with the boy's searching motion, there's a sudden jump between each repeat; wouldn't it have worked better to have added a reversed version of his action to make the join seamless? Love the balloon, though, and great reproduction of the main characters.

A magnificent new stall from Deborah Morley - complete with very splendid guards and a hologrammatic death star. And I like the boy's new balloon. That should bring in the punters!

Very good work this week.

Re: Challenge 695: Greedo
Thanks Steve.
Being more explicit with wind would have been interesting, but those are just static cobwebs or maybe not static! . I was thinking of metamorphosing his head in another version, could have been fun, but maybe not very interesting unless did as a gif .....
