There were still images of a round penetrating a light bulb yesterday. Maybe Tooquilos' entry. I was looking forward to seeing it when I got home but forgot . I see you've removed them. The still images looked great. Are you going to submit them again?

They were on the previous Friday Challenge!

Fabulous animation, Gordon. I read, however, that the biggest reason the turtles are endangered is because too many people wanted them as pets. Unfortunately, females don't start producing offspring until they are 25 years old. A whole generation was lost due to too much love.

The animation is really my attempt to get a better handle on HitFilm.

Thank you Dwindt. If you could make the background spin around, then Im getting front row seats at the House of Blues to see this guy live!

Gordon, that is fabulous! The bubbles are a great touch.

It was simply taken from the title you used, "A new lease of life? ".

Great entries so far.
All in the worst possible taste, I was doing something else but seems to spill into this.

Thanks Tooquilos. The background is a wallpaper: http://waterfire.us/x/labyrotata.jpg. I needed some movement for my bangoo player and this seemed to suit the needs. It made me quite giddy working with it. I trick to throw Steve of when he studies it...

Thanks Anna. The animation was done in Cinema. 600 frames with refraction, reflection and shadows took 8 hours and 15 minutes to render. It was only after I rendered it out that I noticed that four of the fish weren't moving so I had to re-animate that part then re-render. One good night's sleep later and it was finally done.

That female character really draws me in...I hope you know her very well.

Holy cow! I would likely forget that I was working on anything in that length of time.

Happily, once I hit 'Render' I can go off for a coffee or tea or wine or a good night's sleep

Gordon, Dwindt,

Maybe its an interstellar respite. I only went there once so I don't remember who they were apart from shared conversation in that time.

e.g. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy:-

Right on the head with your music selection. It's just how i feel when mesmerised by watching fish swim in an aquarium.

I know the feeling. Some of these animations are so well done, you just have to have a stab at it. I did and realised that this old dog has enough tricks. Perseverance is the key though and you've opened the door. Well done.
