Oh dear haven't had any time.....
Like all your other entries and great entry Mariner.
So all I have is this limited quick entry, just a metaphor maybe(?)..... another day, but away again tomorrow.... sigh

I don't have enough RAM to get a good preview so I never can tell how it's going to come out until I render it. There are always surprises for me. But, it's too late now for me to go back and try to correct them. I guess I just need more experience with the program. Thank you, Anna for being our FC subject. I hope riding the Segway was at least as fun as some of the images.

Sara. Well done. You've managed to fit her into some very varied perspectives. Although it's a bit heavy in places, hiding the awkward wide angle distortion of the base with dust is very clever as this wouldn't match many of the shots and would normally have to change with distance and angle. Love coming up over the hill.

Re: Challenge 705: Tooquilos in Paris
First to relocate Anna was DavidMac, with a homage to ET - and there’s the little critter in the basket. Nice composition, but I’m not entirely sure about the shadow. I like the choice of background in the second entry, but as a director you should know never to put the subject right in the centre of the frame! Lost your rule of thirds overlay?

A true Wizard of Oz setting from lwc, complete with Yellow Brick Road and, er, Kangaroo. That floating dust really adds atmosphere to an already splendid image. A fun tour in the second entry, too - with some mighty big kangaroos. Interesting techniques in the third “not an” entry - is that Plotagraph?

An ingenious entry from Josephine Harvatt: that addition of the jackhammer and high vis jacket has been done to perfection. Amazing, seamless job. Top work, Josephine.

A welcome return from michael sinclair, with an entertaining animation. Is Anna’s heaving bosom passion or just a byproduct of the rocking motion? Good to see you’re on the mend, Michael.

Anna in the Istanbul bazaar fro GKB, admiring all the Turkish lamps. A funny animated version - great title and genie! I like the gliding motion of the Segway: your next task is to add some rotating wheels (I’m sure Cinema 4D can manage that).

A selfie from Linda Eckert, with Anna perfectly grafted into the image. What a good fit this is - and what fun your Segway club seems to be! Are those really multicoloured wheel hubs, or is that your invention?

A tremendous conversion of the Segway into a lawnmower from Mariner - I really like how you’ve kept the overall Segway design while clearly making it a different device. And a great branded top, too. Interesting choice of skyline…

The white cliffs of Dover from James Arendell, with Anna in full-on Mod mode heading away from the cliff edge. That’s either a very high cliff or a very low lighthouse! Good to see you back, James.

A forest path from Jota120 - a path which, like many of Trevor’s entries, is impenetrable, mysterious and just a little disturbing. Interesting work.

A leafy lane from srawland, with Anna right down the far end. Plenty of great views in the animated version - great dust trails! And I like the winding mountain path where you can only just make her out. What a lot of work you’ve put into this, with all these locations… Turkey and beyond! Some really ingenious touches here, especially the way she rises up from behind the hill towards the end.

Thanks Steve. Absolutely right about the non-rotating wheels - naughty me.

Me neither. Strictly speaking she should be completely silhouette if one is to echo the original, but I wanted to let enough light creep around to recognise Anna.

LOL! You got me bang to rights Guv!

Thanks Steve.
There was something going through my head which I think is fine, pity about the quality of my excusion, sorry, and maybe I could have made it more elequent, but that would have probably ended up being more obscure.

Thank you, David. I was trying to cover up the fact that the wheels aren't turning, but it helped with the base perspective problem as well. You must get up terribly early in the morning.

Thank you, Steve. The dust is an effect called "Missile strike" which I had to modify slightly. They give you a lot for a free program. I hope Anna gets a chance to look at all the entries.

Thank you Steve I was going to do a second entry with Anna as a burglar fleeing the scene of the crime but alas time caught up with me

Ah! Two birds with one stone.

Thank you, Steve. You are right, the Segways were only black and grey. The sun didn’t shine and Tooquilos Segway was (very small) far in the background. In short: a lot of work…

Finally back in the Land of Oz. These images are very funny!!! Thank you all for them, I laughed quite a bit! I strongly recommend a Segway ride - so much fun, particularly weaving through pedestrians because you haven’t quite mastered the art of stopping yet!!!
