Thanks Loyd and dwindt - I'm starting to think we have a few beer lovers on the Forum.

Well now Frank, as a Belgian and Brit, I sadly feel compelled to leave Miller Lite firmly out of that particular enthusiasm!

What's wrong with Miller Lite? It tastes great and it's less filling, or at least that's what the commercials claim.

There's a big conference of beer producers. At the end of the day, the presidents of all beer companies decide to have a drink in a bar.

The president of Budweiser orders a Bud, the president of Miller orders a Miller Lite, Adolph Coors orders a Coors, and the list goes on. Then the waitress asks Arthur Guinness what he wants to drink, and much to everybody's amazement, Mr. Guinness orders a Coke!

"Why don't you order a Guinness?" his colleagues ask.

"Naah. If you guys won't drink beer, then neither will I."

Thanks Sara, although I have never had Miller Lite (that I can remember)
David, I hope I didn't start a beer war. I used to be a draught beer man when I frequented the tavern.

I need a Castle larger right now. Just finished my picture and it was a lot of work. Not going to do one of those in a hurry...I think.

Awesome dwindt, I love steampunk! You may need more than one beer to recover from all that effort. Excellent work!

Thanks Lwc. I think it's the 2nd steampunk picture that I've ever done. I did cheat. My wife is terribly ill and I poured hours into it. My hiding place when i'm stressed. I must confess that I sang "chitty chitty bang bang" until I was more than sick of it...and I only know the chorus.

Very nice animation by the way and nicely blendered. Works well together.

Thank you David.

I often think of you when I Photoshop. especially when blurring the edges of any masked items in the picture, to soften the edge pixelation and to make it blend with the rest of the image. A tedious task but well worth the effort. This image had 99 layers, so yes; tedious.

I remember an image you did, if I remember correctly, that had over 250 layers. It had a fairy and I think, gnomes in the fore ground. A full moon rising over pines trees alongside a lake. You said fairies wasn't your thing but that picture was amazing. The depth in the atmospheric perspective that you got with that forest was phenomenal.

Thanks Frank. Now you see what your man cave beer chair has done to me. I've talked a hind leg off a donkey...or from out under Lwc's horse weighing in. I love the way he got the horse to sit.

Dwindt what a ridiculously beautiful image that is!! My jaw dropped when I saw it!! It is superb. Well done!! Reminded me of two things..one is a children's book called Room on a Broom and the other is Charles Muntz, the villain, from the movie Up. Ive attached some images to show you.

I hope your wife's health improves.

Just so you are not singing the same words all the time...

Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Oh, you pretty
Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
We love you and our pretty
Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Loves us too
High, low, anywhere we go
On Chitty Chitty we depend
Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Our fine four fendered friend
Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Our fine four fendered friend
Your sleek as a thorough bred
Your seats are a feather bed
You turn everybody's head today
We'll glide on our motor trip
With pride…

Loyd, the horses' movement in your animation is fabulous. David your seating arrangement is very well done! Love it Frank, how you have turned the scales into a dispenser!

Very nice Anna. Did you recreate the scale in Cinema?

AAAaaahhhhh!

Thank you Tooquilos.

Just when I managed to shake the song...lol.

Lovely animation. I know a whole lot of work goes into to them. I tried it once...Lovely modeling. What did you model it in?

Re: Challenge 749: Guess the weight of the jockey
Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

Very nice Anna, the modeling is always fun to see.

While I was making the animation, I was distracted by a beer discussion and made this for fun before finishing the animation. It is non-animated, sans the foreground tree limbs, the horse pesade and the bird. For the record I last had a beer (Bud Light) two years ago at the golf course...

Re: Challenge 749: Guess the weight of the jockey
Strangely for all my adopted second nationality I am not a beer drinker either. I am very, very definitely tempted from time to time by the small very powerful trappist beers and by similar beers when I visit my son in Bavaria, and there are occasions when nothing else will do ....... but the day to day lagers leave me quite without temptation.

Unfortunately, I only have time for a quick still. I probably won't have time for animations, or at least not well edited animations, for at least the next 6 weeks.
