Nice animation Sara

this is a 51 framer 20mb animation, so it might take some seconds to load and 20 seconds or so for it to "animate" smoothly, as it has to "cycle" through 51 frames before this happens.

Re: Challenge 768: The death aisle
My scheduled golf round was rained out before I left the house this morning, and had nothing better to do... sorry for another tarantula animation.

The giant insects don't scare me anywhere near as much as what the creepy clowns do! Great work everyone.

Yes. The swarms over the city are particularly impressive!

What is it about clowns that can be so disturbing?

I'm not sure, the creepy grins perhaps?

For Anna... Pennywise swarm.

Thank you all for your comments!

Loyd..now that is nightmare fodder!

David, your question is interesting as I had never really given it much thought as to why they scare me. I came to the conclusion this morning that I question the motivation of a person who dresses up and hides their real identity by painting their face in order to gain the trust of little children by appearing friendly and innocuous. So yea, my reason would be is that you don't quite know who or what you are dealing with.

Loyd - love the clowns, Anna - fantastic as per usual - very impressive.
I had a bit of time so threw a short one together -- still learning :http://vimeo.com/353898500

Sounds logical to me. It's not uncommon. Simon Cowell is a well known sufferer from this. There's even a medical term for it - coulrophobia.

My only problem with them personally is that I rarely find them either funny or entertaining.

That's quite nasty. Love all the tiny movements.

Is the levitating foreground rat the result of another scientific 'advance'?

Thanks David...

Not levitating, but his long mutant legs could not be shown in the image.
