The spreading sagging waistline is very subtly done.

I didn't want to demean the noble concept of the "Caped Crusader" so a "memorial"

My printer still isn't working even after hours now with a Microsoft level 3 technician. But she did try to pin the problem on anything but Microsoft's latest upgrade. She was unsuccessful. The upshot is that I did not have time for an animation.

After being caught up in the Madoff investment scandal, Adam West (aka Batman) had to face a shabby retirement.

Re: Challenge 774: Batman begins
First to celebrate Batman’s birthday was DavidMac, with an elegantly constructed graveyard - I particularly like the distance mist effect. Your moss, though, looks recessed rather than raised; maybe reverse the lighting direction? A splendid second entry, with a spreading waistline and sagging features - and a great gag.

Another grave, this time from Ben Mills: a neatly build setting, with Batman’s shadow on the marble. My only issue here is with the perspective: somehow the point looks like it’s leaning forward. The sky suggests your horizon is very much lower than this.

A really funny slideshow from lwc, with a clearly senile Batman on his zimmer frame battling his carers. Is that Burt Ward as Robin? He’s hard to recognise. I like the Alfred explanation in the second entry!

A beautifully batlike batcave from tooquilos, although I’m not sure where the staircase in front is leading. An animated Wayne Manor opens the animated version, with bats and a rooftop Batman; a nice parallax zoom into the doorway inside the batcave.

A well-aged Batman from Eva Roth, the face fitting well into that mask. Perhaps his batsuit should be a little more batwrinkled by now?

Good to see the original batmobile in Frank's animated entry - perfectly fattened up, the glasses and walking frame adding the final touches. I like how you’ve made his legs more skinny.

A fine tribute act from Mariner, with the cast of Only Fools and Horses reprising their costume party. Very neatly adapted figures, and I like David Jason’s rolled-up batmask.

A hilarious entry from Ant Snell, with an obese Batman set in a crowded batcave. Very fine work - the detail of the mask and the logo on the shirt are spot on.

A novel stone memorial raised by michael sinclair - great texturing, and nicely realised. Not sure why he raises into space, though; it makes it look as if he should be standing on something.

A rather grim retirement home from srawland; interesting how the stick make his pose look feeble. You need to look at the colour and density of your shadows, though, to make your Batman fit into his scene:

Wow! Now that is observant! ........ and, sadly, correct.

Thank you, Steve, Interestingly I actually had him de-saturated like your image only I decided the red jacket indicated I'd gone too far.
