Thanks Michael.

It's fun to use fireworks when the opportunity exists...

Like David I used PS new filters and then played around with it.

Ah yes. You've done it properly. I was too lazy to do more than try the filter.

Loyd. Seems "guest moose" is making a first discreet appearance ...........

Re: Challenge 830: Potus
They spent so much on his wigs and teeth they didnt have time for the eyebrows. No cheaty filters employed

Re: Challenge 830: Potus
The idea of turning JFK into a 103-year-old ghoul just didn't appeal, so I found my own image:

Dennis outstanding work! The Site owner is going to give you the "Gold Star" for this one!

My apologies for not continuing this fascinating entry, but I have encountered some computer problems earlier on today, and I'm now "knackered" in solving them, so this is a static quickie i'm afraid.

No entry from me this week! I tried but my attempts kept poor JFK looking like he had been run over with a Chieftan Tank rather than aging gracefully!! Will keep working on it though......but in private!!!

Didn't think I would be able to submit this week - cutting it really fine. Here's a bit of a rush job. What an advantage using the Neural Filters in PS21. Between those and a bit of tweaking, I was quite pleased with the results.

Re: Challenge 830: Potus
First to age JFK this week was dwindt, with an extraordinary manipulation via an app on his son’s phone. Honestly, when I see things like this I realise it’s time to stop setting this sort of Challenge. It would have taken me days to achieve anything even remotely approaching that effect manually. I did like the second entry, however, with a perfectly fitting mask: the way it looks behind there ears is exactly right.

I enjoyed DavidMac's implementation of Loyd’s scarecrow from last week. I think this hugely powerful sculpture (at least I hope it’s a sculpture) will continue to haunt us for months to come. And interesting to see the result of Photoshop 2021’s new ageing filter in the second entry: it’s not a bad start, but when an app beats it hollow you have to start wondering if Adobe is hiring the right people.

The first manual transformation of the week comes from lwc, with a nicely implemented ageing process. Why is he so orange, though? If you are going to recolour people, remember that no face is a uniform colour. I enjoyed the guest moose in the second entry, but do remember to glaze your windows:

Impressive fireworks in the third entry, with the portrait balanced on the back of the car. I like how you’ve done the firework reflections here.

I think Vibeke has shown now to get the best out of Photoshop’s new Neural Filter gallery: you have to do some manual work yourself, and not leave it up to the filter alone. This is a very impressive and subtle ageing, certainly pushing him 20 to 30 years into the future. Nicely done.

Ageing fun from Josephine Harvatt, with a truly gruesome doctoring of JFK’s former good looks. That forehead… those eyebrows! Glorious.

An interesting aged image from Mariner, with splendidly wild hair set off by a surprisingly neat beard. I like the medals on the cardigan especially. That’s quite a bulging forehead your man has!

Some radical plastic surgery needed to repair Michael Sinclair’s entry, in which JFK appears to have been crossed with an elephant. Those wrinkles… that’s quite a transformation, Michael.

That hand/ear gesture in tooquilos's entry is really charming, and adds a truly human touch to an altogether very impressive piece of ageing. The heavy glasses are certainly a bonus feature. I like the flag in the animated version, but I think a cutout might have worked better than that heavy vignette.

Sorry if this week’s Challenge wasn’t to everyone’s taste: I think that’s done it for ageing people.

Yes. After removing all his hair and creating a new scalp I was able to put back the hair with confidence.

Re: Challenge 830: Potus
Window glazing... my original window treatment was glazed, but it seemed to obscure the "guest moose" too much. Since I was going for the moose gag anyway, I eliminated most of the glazing except for the very edges of the glass.

Thanks Steve.

Re: Challenge 830: Potus
Well done everybody.

Thank you Steve but all credit to the app developers. I would have taken ages in aging JFK and I doubt the resembelance would have been that close. So hat's off the the "face app" developers.
