That is unbearably cute Loyd. He looks almost Disney like. All he needs is little white gloves.

Thanks David... I think he has a mischievous look of having been caught while being 'up to no good'.

Well ....... Yes .... and No

I don't know how well Rolf Harris was known in the 'States but there is an unpleasant subtext to this image.

Just Google his name and all will be revealed .........

I had no idea. My parents had an LP in which that song appeared on and my father loved to sing it while he was working on his projects.

Thank you Michael. I have to say that you have excelled yourself again this week. I find the way the tail shadow reflects its distance from the ground particularly impressive.

Is it? If the little fellow is Australian?

Joey was thrilled to get a low level ride in the nose of a restored B-17 through the Blue Mountains.

Loyd

I like the animation but B-17? or B-25 Mitchell?

I think I need to get out more

Re: Challenge 832: Meet Joey
Thanks Gordon... B-17 or B-25? To be honest, I'm not sure... the internet image was tagged "B17 Nose Gun". I cut it out last month not knowing at the time how I might use it and did not keep the original image. It could well be a B25, there were so many variants of each made through out the course of the war that it is difficult for me to know for sure.

Many images available from Google searches are often tagged inaccurately anyway. At the time I wasn't searching for B-17 images, it was simply 'stumbled upon' and I thought it might fit some sort of future animation.

It seems to me that - 'getting out more' wouldn't hurt either one of us...

Re: Challenge 832: Meet Joey

Such fabulous entries this week! Jo, I love how you have painted Joey.

Mariner, I laughed at your entry. The look on Joey's face says - watch me while I take on the croc!

Loyd, there is a cable car that goes over the valley in the Blue Mountains. I went on it once and won't be doing it again in a hurry. The carriage has a glass bottom and looking down was terrifying. I couldn't wait for it to end!

Re: Challenge 832: Meet Joey
Anna - There is no way I could ride a cable car with a glass bottom... when I was young heights did not bother me, but that is no longer true.

I started an entry using Australian currency but never could make it work the way I wanted and scraped the idea... good job on yours.

Anna I have been on a cable car to the top of the Zugspitze, but wouldn't do it now.

Re: Challenge 832: Meet Joey
Mariner. The type just perfect. Did you do it in photoshop or import it from a vector App?
