Some great entries so far, afraid I won't be able to join you.

I fulfilled the criteria by adding a few more wheels however, to see what became of the car, you need to watch the video

Haha Gordon . Loyd, the training wheels are a gem! All the entries, so far, are brilliant. David, you covered the car very well with the Union Jack. Doug, there is a real sense of movement in yours.

Nice job Tooquilos I don't think even Wheeler Dealers would touch that project

Pimp my Morgan!!

I love the way you have kept the three wheel aspect with the giant rear wheel.

Re: Challenge 850: The two-wheeler
I not only found the third wheel but I persuaded the owner to change the paint to 'British Racing Green'

David innovative and very interesting as usual, Anna engaging as usual, but...when the car sped away the wheels didn't spin: I'm telling teacher

Please see my new upgraded entry (spinning hub/spokes and no jumping background)

Nice 'sporty' rebuild Anna... fun entries by all. There's only so much you can do with an animated gif Mr. Sinclair... and I'm stickin' with the training wheels.

This one is a total cheat...

P.S. - David, are you sure that is British Racing Green?

Lovely stuff everybody. Thought I'd cheat with a 3d model this week. Found a beautiful model of a Morgan but it's useless for anything apart from printing. Its over 10 million polygons...lol. Makes my computer very sluggish!

You'll have to ask Gordon not me. It was his contribution. However, like you, I wondered too. In my head British Racing green is altogether much darker and less saturated.

'Fraid you're both correct on that one. British Racing Green is a much darker colour but I made it lighter for a better visual effect. Will you ever forgive me?

Try this one from Sketchfab. Depending on what you would like to do with it you might have to do some work on it as things like wheels are grouped with parts of the chassis. And you will have to provide vide your own textures. But on the other hand it is a freebie.

We are all getting 'senior moments' these days, especially after a year of lockdown.

originally I 'guesstimated' the shade of British Racing Green (a colour that I have always hated btw) but it was niggling with me before you or David mentioned it so .... I checked out the correct RGB values, tweaked some of the reflections and specular settings then re-rendered it.

That's it Gordon, I must say though, that it is a car color i could not become fond of... I just don't get a sense of 'let's drive really fast".

Re: Challenge 850: The two-wheeler
Some very prestigious racing cars and drivers have carried this colour. I rather like that it doesn't scream at you.

As for forgiveness for mistreating a symbolic national colour Gordon ...... I will have to give that some serious consideration and reflection. Of course I probably don't need to bother ...... the present government will most likely soon introduce a law to make such arrant disregard treasonous!

Re: Challenge 850: The two-wheeler
Ok I have done a complete upgrade (the jumping background and the spin on the hub/spokes), so I thought it worth re-posting

Just a two-framer!

UPDATED AGAIN

Re: Challenge 850: The two-wheeler
love the entries everyone.

Gordon, as I said, after work I was going to download the model you gave me a link to. I had no idea it was such a beauty. The uv maps were nice and clean. Normaly I have to break a freebie apart to texture it but this was a breeze. I also usually paint it in 3Dcoat to hide all the seams but with this one, I tried Daz surfaces and it worked beautifully. Thanks again.

All credit to both Gordon and especially jpo1703, for letting us use his amazing model.
