I agree Loyd. There's countless possibilities for good ol' Wiz! I love the hobbit house.

There's a problem with Vimeo. It's linking a random clip which is not the one I posted. I'll sort it out and hopefully post the correct link.

This challenge has gotten completely out of control, I now have nine more finished entries. Really a fun challenge, the ideas are coming two or three a day. Obviously I must keep the count down and choose only a few more... Steve would ban me forever if I posted all of them...

Yes. I am sorry to be missing out on this one.

Michael, since I've been forced to give up golf, I have a lot more time to kill. After I have made any required cutouts and the subject animation, it doesn't take long to change backgrounds, position. and speed. Many take less than an hour, some two, three, or more... also since most are animated gifs, I don't have to concern myself with precise details.

I do have a tendency to work way too fast however, and that makes for a lot of mistakes.

Re: Challenge 882: The Wizard of Christchurch
Loyd entertaining as usual. Anna again professionally accomplished

Forgive me that I have not done more to the Wizard, BUT I'm totally physically and mentally exhausted after doing some amazing work in creating a tornado spectacular.

The first image (untouched) is the original image from which I acquired my inspiration.

The second image (two-framer) has the Wizard cursing me for not allowing him to feature in my masterpiece , and invoking the weather from Hell ( Oklahoma .

By clicking on the image you will get a large full-screen of the storm.

The third image--an animation--is my piece de resistance !

Loyd - busy as usual - nice work
Vibeke - lovely work - nice clear crisp image
Anna - very nice - he certainly gets around -
Michael - future storms with global warming
I thought about doing an animation with the usual wizard special effects but having done a few of those I tried to think outside of that box - Greta calls in a heavyweight helper:

Re: Challenge 882: The Wizard of Christchurch
vibeke - Well done! How far a hike is it to the original background image location?

Frank - Good one!

Michael - Your tornado animation in full screen tells it all... (fyi - Oklahoma had twenty-eight tornadoes in October 2021 alone).

Re: Challenge 882: The Wizard of Christchurch
Some great work Loyd, You are having a great trip around New Zealand, I have been to most of this places.
My background is at the foot of Mt Cook, Aoraki. Under 200km in a straight line but over 300km by road. It is almost straight west from Christchurch.
