Re: Challenge 884: The ground floor
This weeks entries thus far have all provided a good chuckle; everything from stilts, winged tenants, trampolines , see saws, etc - very imaginative folks and well done. Had a good laugh.
I'm afraid mine delved more in to the serious side for the tenants and the prospective tenants.

Great balcony, Frank. Balconies are 'in' this week.

Thanks Anna.

Ant: Please, please consider the Shadows & Highlights once in a while: see the "before and after"

Good work silly-woman

Frank so natural!

Nice work Michael, but shouldn't there be more defined shadows (darker) directly underneath the balcony

Re: Challenge 884: The ground floor
First entry this week is from lwc, with a flooded scene that raises the access level - clever. I like the added duck, and the rowing action. But I must take issue with you on the reflection; that’s not how they work:

Great dinosaurs in the second entry, and I like the destruction you’ve wrought on the buildings. The T Rex animation is particularly well accomplished.

An ingenious stilt walking entry from DavidMac. The real work here, of course, went into rebuilding the bottom half of the wall, and laying the grass. Very cute. I like the man climbing out of the hole in the second entry, especially the way the shadow of the ladder works over the earth. And that high walkway is really good. Bet her neighbour wants one. I was hugely entertained by the third entry, with its plethora of angels: the one in the foreground really sets the scene, and those stone landing platforms work beautifully. Really splendid work, David.

Tremendous work from Ant Snell, with beautiful modelling of the balconies. The boat and its garage (boathouse?) are glorious, as is the lily-covered waterway. Fantastic, Ant, you’ve really excelled here.

An entertaining approach from michael sinclair, with a nicely rebuilt house raising the floor level. I like the reveal to the original behind. Small point: you need to either remodel your door or find a photo taken more from the side.

A sporty solution from tooquilos, with a trampoline in front of the landing platform. Do we get to see it in action? Yes, there it is in the animated version - that’s some great spinning action! And I do like the seesaw man. Well, that’s a couple of ways to get in!

Another trampoline, this time from Josephine Harvatt. But how is she going to get inside? I like how you’ve left the building still in progress. Dodgy perspective on the van, though: its top should follow the angle of the brickwork.

A beautiful remodel from Frank, with a perfectly realised terrace and its accompanying flowerbed. I like the ropes holding the banner in place (and I recognise that wrinkle technique). Excellent, Frank. Glad those Full Montage people have come in handy!

A fine balcony from Mariner, with a great garden below and a neatly perspectived ladder. I like the story with the dog. Why is the woman on the left in shadow, when the one next to her is in full sunlight? Easy enough to fix:

Good work this week.

Thanks Steve. I had fun with this one. I have to say the real version doesn't win many brownie points in my book!

Thanks for the correction Steve. I had lost interest in this rather dull challenge by Tuesday and, with Xmas coming, had other things to do.

Thanks, I understand. Unfortunately the reflection is a preset within the software and allows for little to no ability for adjustments. I need to remember not to use it at all.
