This week’s entry is likely to be my last for a few weeks. Over the last few years, my fingers have been slowly contracting (Dupuytrens’s Contracture). After being on a waiting list for far too long I have eventually had a date through for an operation on my right hand (Sunday 27th). The picture below is not my hand but what I am likely to look like for around 7 weeks and even using a mouse is not an option. Maybe you could make me smile by as a sideline in the Friday challenge style show me what my surgery may look like

The game app is very clever Ant, nicely done indeed...! Best wishes on your surgery...! I know your team of doctors will take better care of you than those in the Twilight Zone...

Damn! I seem to be missing out on one of the best weeks. Just time for a quick look in. Great stuff from everyone. Really varied and original. Ant good luck! I had something similar ten years ago, although not as bad as your example photo. A single 5 cm scar on the palm of my dominant right hand. Not a lot of fun at the time but the results were good. No troubles since. Fingers crossed ……. Computer was in the shop last week so I was temporarily out of commission - took your advice David and had an SSD installed while it was there. Lighting speed now - just need to transfer some of that speed to my brain Great work by all last week Will try to get one in this week but many ideas already commissioned - again fantastic entries this week |

If you want a surgical recommendation here’s his handiwork. When shooting on location we took lunch in a local pub. We took the girls into the bar made up like this …….made quite a stir!

Some great entries this week, being my original, I just had to enter. I still haven't got my iMac back. They did receive a new disk drive and installed it, much faster than expected only to find the disk drive wasn't the problem, it was the SSD, so now waiting for that. Just as a sideline, are you from Nordic descent? This condition is also known as "Vikings disease." - My husband and several of his cousins and their children are all affected by it. DNA testing confirmed they all have a significant amount of Nordic DNA. Not that it helps your situation, but it's interesting.
