I love this Gordon. The gag is perfect ...... and Rags too!

I can't help observing, however, that this would work far better with the base removed. It would really help conceal the different perspective of the statues.

The Three Stooges was an American vaudeville and comedy team active from 1922 until 1970, best remembered for their 200 short subject films by Columbia Pictures. Their hallmark styles were physical farce and slapstick. Moe, Larry, and Curly.

Ah! I know the name of course but not the faces. I can't remember ever having seen them ..... but I must have at some point.

Re: Challenge 959: The Midas touch
David - The Three Stooges played almost endlessly on American TV in the 1950s when I was a kid. Think Benny Hill, but dumber and slanted more for children.

Funny and clever bit on the contact lens...

Some cracking gags this week - I remember the original statue well when it was a dull brown rather than a group of Cee3PI0s

Re: Challenge 959: The Midas touch
Following the somewhat ignimonious departure of Mr Johnson from Parliament I suggest a statue be made to commemorate his most important achievement - Ladies and Gentlemen I give you "The Choosing of the Wallpaper"

Is that the pirated version of Star wars featuring Long John Gold?

I'll get me coat

Great work on colouring Frank.

Funny Loyd.

Thanks Michael. It was much easier than I expected.
