I keep moaning here about on line pictures always being looking straight at camera or even harder smiling or grinning at straight camera but I have been completely unable to find any kind of search parameters or controls to avoid this. I've tried 'till I am blue in the face but nothing I can dream up works. If any of you out there know a clever wheeze I would love to here it!!

I have a large collection of people seen from different directions (front, side, up, down, back) many of which are not looking at the camera. If I can't find one I like, and don't want to spend hours searching the net then I just move their eyballs to the left or right and add a high light.

Yes me too. But it's limited, it can't change a full face to a profile which is more than often what I need.

Re: Challenge 1043: On board the Mauretania
A close photography friend of mine, Paul Curtis, spent a lot of his life on the sea wrote - Hi Ben, there were two Mauritanias, both registered at Southampton. The first one was initially registered in Liverpool. I’ve been on the 1938 one but not on the first! Some writers get confused between the two! Paul is also an author specialising in ships & photography. http://www.facebook.com/paulcurtisbooks

I seem to have gotten stuck on portholes for some reason... sorry about that. Cheer up, this is the last one.

Loyd make captain Sparrow blink and all will be well.

The good ship Mauretania 1938 in choppy seas.

The "little fat Belgian" is Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. I am not sure that David Suchet, the actor who plays him, would appreciate the description.

But thank you!

I'm not a great fashion connoisseur, however would Gertrude the mannequin, have worn something like this during that time?

Micheal, what a terrific rebuild. Hercule Poirot works beautifully in the image.

That's an impressive remake Michael.

I agree with Anna over the dress. Sad.

Anna the water on the deck in the animation is really impressive!

Classic Ant topical ..........

(My image removed for update. Back soon)

Mine comes under the heading "Seemed like a good idea at the time .... but wish I'd never thought of it". This really rather dull image proved to be surprisingly hard work.
