Thank you, Michael. I knew I could count on you. You have explained the linking of images to tons of people over the years. It was just a matter of time...lol.

Lovely crisp image as always. I just know there's a great deal of work there. I enjoy how your image displays and I assume you have a Flickr account. I started an account with them to and have created an album with subject picture attached to the album. Do I select the image and copy the "share" link, to paste an image here. I remember you had to type something. tried below. Please direct this doff ballie...lol.

Lloyd, thank you and you're welcome to use the image. Anyone from the challenge is, if they wish so.

Dennis, you don't need to do this link to flickr.com. Your own imgur.com image is absolutely fine, as you can see from my download of your work earlier. The URL to imgur.com should read as follows:

open square bracket img://i.imgur.com/fAew9sO.jpeg close square bracket

I cannot type a square bracket in this box as it will be read as a command.

If you really want to use flickr.com as your upload site then I recommend you read my tutorial HERE

Ah, that tutorial was tops Mariner. You explained very clearly. Thank you. I tested it in the last conversation we had, corrected the link and it attached my image. Thanks so much.

Re: Challenge 1064: Getting in a lather
First to work the lathe this week was lwc, with Alfred E Neuman looking suitably perplexed. A mad idea, perhaps. I like the woodturning version, but shouldn’t at least one of those people be holding a chisel? I’ve never seen Alfred with a twin, but that’s a fine piece of turned brass they’re holding. I like the baseball bats, and delighted he isn’t wearing a MAGA cap. Is Alfred your new moose?

Giant chess pieces from Ben Boardman, and of course a perfect use of the lathe. I might suggest a touch of Arch Warp to make it fit the perspective better.

I must admit, Ant Snell’s totem pole would never have occurred to me. Mind those fringes don’t get caught in the spinning mechanism. I like the tepee canteen.

The removal of distractions in dwindt's lathe is impressive – and no thanks to AI, I’m guessing. A labour of love! And good to see the high res version.

A magnificent candlestick from Mariner, with a whole new background. The workers are spot on. There’s something a little curious about the perspective of those windows, though. A very striking welding image, which does raise the question of why someone would be welding on a lathe but is nevertheless very god to look at. This industrial background works much better.

Thanks Steve. I am glad I don't work in a factory.

Thank you Steve. Everything you see is part of the photo or painted in and manipulated with the smudge brush. No AI at all and no added items from other images.

Well done everybody. Thanks for the directions, Marine. I was one figure (plus shadows and highlights) from posting another image yesterday but I've worked myself to a standstill. The wind was totally out of my sails and no systems were go. Hopefully I can pick up from where I left off on Wednesday and continue with my renovations.
