And you have! I think this is much more atmospheric, and incidentally easier to 'read'.

It is very noticeable, but hardly surprising, that you and I take a very photographic approach to our images. Although there are exceptions, I like my images, however fantastical and unbelievable, to look believable.

Some great and fun entries. Nice lighting as usual David, a great build Dennis.
I went with the traditional ghosts and tried the new Relight Layer in Beta.

Another slideshow... for the record, I consider a slideshow to be one entry.

So Steve ..... tell me ............ ?

Well, that really stumped me. But after a bit of going back and forth with ChatGPT…

"I’ve found a very promising match: A Raincoat, a British band from the 1970s!

Their 1975 album was originally going to be called Macs By Graves, but was renamed Digalongamacs. According to a record-collectors’ reference, the sleeve featured the band in a graveyard, which fitted the original title."

How very appropriate!

Oh Steve! I really didn't mean to put you to so much trouble! I thought you would get it straight away.

The answer is far less erudite ...... and the group far better known ........ at least so I thought ........

Re: Challenge 1128: Spooky time
Micheal, Loyd, Anna you are all having a lot of fun with this!

Dennis I think yours is just lovely, very restrained and effective.

Frank I just downloaded Beta to take a look at Re-Light Layer. It's very clever but, like rotate object, it depends on creating a 3D model from the 2D image. It does this very well on simple objects but definitely needs to be used with discretion.

I am not sure I would use it on portraits of loved ones as it can subtly change the face. I also think it's going to work best when the original lighting is not too contrasty or extreme.

However, for matching a downloaded image into a different background it could be a total game changer as you can completely change the direction of the light in ways lierally unthinkable in 2D.

I haven't tried it on complex objects or images with multiple objects. I think you might have to use multiple extractions of the different image elements.

It would be easy to go ctotally overboard with this and get very crude and overdone but used intelligently and discreetly there are times it will be a complete game changer.

I need to play a lot more!

Tell him thank you for me.

The movement of the chains in your ghost video is great. How did you get them to move and bend so smoothly?
