Thanks Dennis, it's been a nightmare at times - a lot of older Apps won't work now.
Nice work from you, Ben and Loyd.
P.S. I like your latest Little Red Riding Hood.
A cute idea as well.

Thanks Frank.

I understand your frustration. I bought a new system a while back. Took ages re-installing everything only to have my processor pack up on me. A month later, after the processor was replaced, I found myself doing it all over again. Not a nice job.

I feel a quiz coming on. Can you find all the Fairytale’s Fables and Nursery Rhymes embedded in this montage? Answers on Friday.

Lovely Ben. Are we the only one's here this week? Everybody else must have hangovers from Halloween...except for Michael. He'll be hard at work on his image.

Yes Ben, lovely and unexpected.

....... and no Dennis ... I'm here .....but Photoshop bombed on me destroying some of my personal settings and I had to do major reinstall and reset.

My current image is time consuming so it's taking a while.

Hence this image was created in part by me and trying out the new AI Assist I asked it to make the wolf appear mean, make riding hood look scared, and place granny in the door . So here it is partial Ai and partial my own research. I have mixed feelings on using AI but I think it will probably become the norm in the near future.

Yes of course it will Frank and thank you for being open about its use. In my view that is absolutely correct.

The big question is how much place does it have here in a challenge where we pit our own wit and skills against one another?

If we take it too far the challenge risks becoming meaningless or, at best, reduced to who can write the best prompts. Personally I value and respect you all far more than that.

By all means use whatever methods you want but if AI is involved in creation as opposed to basic grunt work (where we all use it now) then please declare it openly. There's nothing necessarily wrong with it but my difficulty is, if we don't know any longer whose work we are looking at, we risk undermining the very spirit of the challenge

The joy of this challenge has always been that it is where we pit our wits and skills against one another.

What a fun image! It's late here and I'm off to bed. Need to put in some study time tomorrow.

Up, up and away....

This was extremely difficult to pull off and here I thought it would be a walk in the park.

95% restored now. Rest should be easy ..... just boring to do.

Re: Challenge 1129: Fairy Tale
Bigger isn't necessarily better but this does really need viewing big. It has a bit too much going on for the default size.

After all my moralising about AI earlier on, I can happily declare this image 100% organic ..........

.......... but an awful lot of work for a rather feeble gag .................
